ANSWER:
GOD said:

”يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يُدۡنِينَ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰٓ أَن يُعۡرَفۡنَ فَلَا يُؤۡذَيۡنَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا ٥٩”
[سورة الأحزاب,٥٩]
”O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
[Al Ahzab59]

The wisdom contained in the verse is clear that the women of the believers prostrate and cover their faces for fear of the unbelievers. So that they know this woman is Muslim or the wife of one of the Muslims. It was customary for women in Mecca and the tribes that visit Mecca for Hajj to cover the face.

Specifications of the Islamic veil:

The advantages of the hijab are below:

1. Keeping the woman primarily from the greed of the greedy.
2. Do not displaying her body to non-mahrama.
3. In order to preserve society, when women cover all the details of their body, they protect her from harassment of others.
4. An aesthetic view of women hides their flaws.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to ‘Aa’ishah,

” O ‘Aisha, that if a woman reaches menstruation, it is not valid to see anything except this & this And pointed to the face and hands in prayer.” (Or as he said peace be upon him.)”
